*A Common Mortal* is a collaboration between BATS Theatre and Dag Vagle. The play, written by Lisa Watson and directed by James Goldwater, combined theatre performance with live music composed especially for the play. This was a unique theatre experience in Stavanger. The play is based on real events following Stanislav Petrov and the 1983 Oko nuclear incident. BATS Theatre performed *A Common Mortal* 4 shows to a limited audience from June 17-19 at Folken in Stavanger Sentrum. We received support from the Stavanger Kommune in the form of a cultural grant.
